TIPS
*Lawns that have visible signs of decline due to high traffic (compaction), can be remedied by means of lawn aeration, which we may recommend. We may also suggest a lime application to create a neutral ph in the soil, which is great for grass. This is a corrective measure, only if we see signs of soil acidity such as moss plants.
*While fall is generally the best time to seed, if your lawn has bare patches, we may recommend seeding or sod installation as long as the ground temperature is warm enough to germinate the seeds or establish your roots from the sod.
*Spring is also a good time to fertilize your lawn either organically or using a chemical fertilizer and an application of herbicide may be suggested for those who prefer weed-free lawns. Some weeds may also be pulled out by hand at the roots.
